As a separate legal entity from the Diocese of El Paso, the Catholic Foundation is not affected by the recent reorganization of the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso. We remain committed to our core purpose of raising funds necessary to sustain the parishes, schools, ministries, and charities that continue the teachings of Jesus Christ in our Diocese. All monies raised through the Catholic Foundation are only used for the parishes, programs, services, and ministries for which they are designated. No gifts are used to satisfy legal fees or settlement costs associated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso’s reorganization.

Now more than ever, we are counting on the community to help us fulfill our mission. Our hearts and prayers remain with the victims and their families.

We Give Because He Has Given Us So Much
We Give Because He Has Given Us So Much

When was the last time you stopped and thought about everything the Lord has given you? Maybe it is your family. Your faith. Your health. A prayer answered. A difficult season He carried you through. Or simply the gift of waking up knowing that God is still working in your life. That is the WHY behind our giving. We don’t give simply because there is a goal to reach. We give because God gave first, and He asks for so little in return. Every gift to the Progress Annual Ministry Appeal is an opportunity to place a small portion of what God has entrusted to us back into His hands, and then watch Him use it to bless someone else. Through your sacrificial generosity, a seminarian is formed for priesthood. A child grows deeper in faith. Someone searching for Christ is reminded that the Church is here and that they are loved. And a person or family walking through one of life’s most difficult seasons can find healing and hope. And YOU are part of that story. One beautiful example is Catholic Counseling Services, where individuals, couples, and families are met with compassion, dignity, healing, and hope when they may need it most. Sometimes God’s blessings return to us through the hands and hearts of others. Your gift helps make that possible. It helps someone who is hurting know they are seen. It helps a struggling family find support. It reminds a brother or sister in Christ that they do not have to walk through their difficulties alone. This is WHY we give.

As we continue our 2026 Progress Annual Ministry Appeal, I invite you to take a quiet moment and prayerfully ask yourself: “Lord, from all You have given me, what are You calling me to give back?”

It doesn’t have to be a large gift. It simply needs to come from the heart.

Because when each of us gives a little from what God has entrusted to us, He can multiply it into something beautiful. Our blessings become someone else’s blessing. Our generosity becomes hope. And together, we become the hands and feet of Christ for our community.

As we continue this beautiful mission together, please know how deeply grateful we are for YOU.

Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your faith. Thank you for your sacrificial generosity. And thank you for allowing the Lord to work through you to bring hope, healing, faith, and love to our brothers and sisters throughout the Church. And remember, turn your blessings into a blessing for someone else. This is our WHY. We give because He first gave to us.
